Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have locked horns for over 120 years in El Clásico. The two legendary Spanish clubs have traded back-and-forth punches since their first meeting in 1902.

On Sunday, Barca and Real will compete in the Supercopa de España Final at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Barcelona thrashed Athletic Bilbao 5-0 in Wednesday's semifinal to reach the final. Real Madrid edged rivals Atlético de Madrid 2-1 on Thursday to set up what should be another memorable El Clásico final.

Across 262 total matches in all competitions, Real Madrid holds a narrow edge. Los Blancos have won 106 El Clásico matches compared to Barcelona's 104 victories. There have been 52 El Clásico draws.

Currently, Barcelona holds a four-point edge over Los Merengues in the 2025-26 La Liga standings.

Goals by Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham propelled Real Madrid to a 2-1 victory over Barca in October 2025 at the Bernabéu. The sides will next meet in league action at Camp Nou on May 10.
