Milan have sent an opening bid for Pervis Estupiñán who has reportedly told Brighton that he wants to join a foreign club this summer.
Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto confirms Milan have sent an opening offer to sign Brighton left-back Estupiñán.
Negotiations between the Serie A giants and the Premier League club formally began on Thursday, with the Rossoneri looking for a replacement for Theo Hernandez.
There are mixed reports on the fee offered by Milan as Calciomercato.com claims the Rossoneri’s first proposal was €14m plus add-ons, while Moretto reports that it’s slightly lower at €12/13m.
Nevertheless, Milan hope to get closer to Brighton’s asking price in the coming days, while new coach Massimiliano Allegri has already approved Estupiñán’s potential move.
According to Moretto, Brighton value Estupiñán at less than €30m, and the Ecuador international has already made it clear that he’d like to continue his career in a foreign club.
Estupiñán, 27, joined Brighton from Villarreal in a €17.8m deal in 2022.
He has four goals and 11 assists in 84 Premier League appearances.
