This is an Everton predicted lineup for their Premier League clash with West Ham on Monday Night Football. The Irons will come into this one amid some chaos as they sacked manager Graham Potter just a few days ago, this will leave them without a manager for this one despite preparing all week for it with Potter. The Toffees will be hoping to take advantage of that to continue their promising start to the campaign as a win would see them jump to the top eight in the league table.

How Everton Have Lined Up Recently

Jordan Pickford is the number one goalkeeping option with Mark Travers deputising in the cups. Vitalii Mykolenko is the desired left-back starter but his fitness issues saw James Garner play there for a bit with Seamus Coleman tasked with the role in midweek. In the middle of the defensive like, Michael Keane and James Tarkowski are the only fit, senior options and have started every match together.

On the right side, Jake O’Brien has locked down the right-back position, only needing Coleman to fill in once in this campaign. Further up, Tim Iroegbunam has partnered Idrissa Gueye and Garner in the pivot, the latter two are the preferred option for David Moyes but left-back vacancies forced a reshuffle.

Jack Grealish, Illiman Ndiaye, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have proved effective as attacking midfield options. Their replacements for cup matches are Dwight McNeil, Carlos Alcaraz, and Tyler Dibling, who don’t have quite the same impact. Thierno Barry and Beto are sharing the minutes up front, with the latter getting most of the starts in the league.

Everton Recent Form & Tactics

Moyes hasn’t strayed too far from what works. The Toffees set up in a compact 4-2-3-1 with two capable defensive midfielders capable of winning the ball. The back line is a physical unit with full-backs who could fill in at centre-back with their strength and tackling abilities, the attacking line looks to counter or win the ball back to trigger turnovers instead of sitting back fully.

Without a win in three, things look worse than they are for the side, one was a cup loss while the other was to reigning champions Liverpool. Wins against Brighton and Wolves have put them comfortably in the middle of the pack as the entire league appears to be struggling for consistency. With some teams above them almost certain to drop off, any positive result can be a stride towards a good run at the top half of the table.

Everton Injuries to Consider

According to PremierInjuries, it is the same two absences as usual for the manager. Jarrad Branthwaite has been out all season and remains sidelined, he is joined by Merlin Rohl.
