As Carlo Ancelotti prepares to begin work as the new head coach of the Brazil national team, here is a look at all the Brazilian players the Italian tactician has coached in his career to date, and those in the current Brazil squad he is already familiar with.

Ancelotti was announced as the new head coach of Brazil on Monday. He will officially begin work in the role from May 26 onwards once the LaLiga season with Real Madrid is over, and will lead the team into the 2026 World Cup

His first tests will come in World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay on June 6 and June 11 respectively, with his first squad expected to be announced by the end of May.

Ancelotti has coached well over 40 players from Brazil during his coaching career at club level, including four former Ballon d’Or winners in Kaka, Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho, all of whom he had at Milan.

Ancelotti has also already coached six players who are still national team regulars for Brazil when fit and available, most of whom he had at Real Madrid with Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Endrick, Eder Militao, Casemiro and Richarlison, whom he coached at Everton.

Ancelotti has used Kaka more than any other Brazilian in his career to date, with 270 shared appearances together, with Dida following closely behind with 267 shared appearances, then Rodrygo in third with 208, then Serginho with 201 and then Vini Jr., with 197.
