Alessio Tacchinardi lashed out at the Thuram brothers after Saturday’s Derby d’Italia clash between Juventus and Inter Milan.

Speaking to Pressing via FCInterNews, Tacchinardi questioned their behavior during last weekend’s high-stakes clash in Turin.

Juventus and Inter threw another spectacle in one of the most iconic fixtures in European football.

Indeed, the record-time Italian champions pulled off a stunning 4-3 win over their eternal rivals.

However, the game could’ve gone either way, with both teams boasting the lead at some point.

Yet, Inter’s lapse of concentration in the final ten minutes saw the Bianconeri snatch away a late victory.

Meanwhile, both Thuram brothers got on the scoresheet.

Marcus Thuram headed home Federico Dimarco’s cross to put Inter 3-2 up in the 76th minute.

Then, Khephren Thuram scored a header six minutes later to restore parity.

Despite the high stakes, both brothers seemed relaxed and unfazed by the significance of the occasion.

Instead, cameras spotted them joking and laughing together, as if they were playing a casual game between friends.

Alessio Tacchinardi Slams Thuram Brothers After Derby d’Italia

Tacchinardi first praised Igor Tudor’s approach as the Croat outplayed his Inter counterpart, Cristian Chivu.

“I think Tudor learned a lot from Lippi,” he claimed. “He went with a very defensive strategy, showing great respect for Inter.

“The strategy worked up to a point, then less so, but he showed great courage with Adzic. Last year, he never would’ve won a game like this.

“This time, he was rewarded with his substitutions. This is a completely different Juve.

“As Chivu said, Juve have the humility to kick the ball into the stands, whereas Inter no longer want to get their hands dirty.”

Meanwhile, he also hailed Francesco Acerbi’s performance against Dusan Vlahovic.

“Juve sat very deep, and Acerbi is one of the best at man-marking,” Tacchinardi added.

“Against a player like Openda, Acerbi would’ve struggled, but with Vlahovic, he played a great match.”

Finally, he delivered the verdict on the brothers’ behavior.

“My brother and I would’ve never behaved like that.

“He could’ve avoided that laugh. In such a moment, it was a mistake. But he played a great game; on the pitch, he gave everything.”
