Ex-Leeds boss Bielsa in frame for USA job

Former Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa is in line for the United States job.

With the USMNT looking for a new coach, Bielsa is being seen as a possible alternative.

The Argentine was linked to Everton, but turned down the chance to replace Frank Lampard.

According to Telemundo, Bielsa is in the frame for the vacant USA job.

Previous coach Gregg Berhalter is out of contract, while there is no suggestion that he will be offered a new deal.

Bielsa may be seen as the ideal coach to bring forward the current crop of American youngsters who impressed at the World Cup.
