Jadon Sancho is nearing decision time on his next move away from Manchester United and has three options within Serie A, Football Italia understands.

Where Juventus, Inter and Roma stand in Sancho pursuit

The unwanted Manchester United winger is not short on options, ass he may also have possibilities in other European leagues, but there are three concrete options for the former Borussia Dortmund winger in Serie A.

The Englishman had originally committed to a Juventus move. Intermediaries had visited Continassa at least three times. Damien Comolli had seemed intent on closing the deal for Sancho, but a ‘one in, one out’ rule prevailed, which put Sancho to one side.

There have also been suggestions of a possible move to Inter for the 2024-25 Chelsea loanee.

An agent close to both Inter and Manchester United has held meetings to discuss the player’s salary and a potential fee for his transfer.

Inter, however, are still holding out for a deal with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman, who is considered their Plan A, leaving Sancho as a back-up option.

Football Italia can confirm that Roma have also been in contact to discuss a possible move for Sancho. The Giallorossi are in active contact and have received detailed information of the situation.

Sancho is a player that Gian Piero Gasperini likes, potentially more so than any other attacking option on Roma’s current shortlist, but it remains to be seen what decision the player himself will make.
