Lorenzo Insigne has received several offers from Italian and foreign clubs, but the ex- Napoli winger has taken time while his agent has met with Lazio President Claudio Lotito.

Euro 2020 winner Insigne is still without a club since terminating his contract with Toronto FC in July.

Several offers for Italian winger Insigne

Sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that Insigne has received several offers from Italian and foreign clubs this summer.

Udinese were one of the latest clubs to make an attempt for the Italy international, but Insigne has still decided to take time and hasn’t yet picked a new club.

As Football Italia already reported in July, the ex-Napoli striker is eager to join Lazio, but the transfer embargo imposed on the Biancocelesti has prevented them from finalising an agreement.

Insigne’s agent meets with Lotito

The winger’s agent recently met with Lazio President Lotito in Cortina, but it remains to be seen whether Lazio will be allowed to sign free agents starting in September or October.

Insigne is on excellent terms with Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri and for now, he has put talks with all other clubs on hold.
