Milan director Igli Tare has sent a trusted intermediary to London to hold talks with Rasmus Hojlund’s father and insist that the Rossoneri have a long-term plan for the ex- Atalanta star.
Milan are pushing to sign Manchester United forward Hojlund and have sent an intermediary to London to talk to the striker’s father.
Sources with direct knowledge of the matter told my colleague Gianluigi Longari that the intermediary would inform Hojlund’s dad about the club’s long-term plan for his son.
The Rossoneri are open to changing the transfer formula, allowing Hojlund to remain at San Siro beyond June 2026.
It is also confirmed that Hojlund is a transfer target for Napoli.
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic remains Massimiliano Allegri’s favourite option for the Milan attack, but the issue for the Serbia international is tied to his salary rather than his transfer fee.
This is why Milan have decided to accelerate negotiations for Hojlund, bearing in mind that the transfer window will shut in less than two weeks.
