Napoli’s transfer window is entering a phase of further and final decisions. The Azzurri have two fullbacks in hand: Juanlu Sanchez, born in 2003, on the right, and Miguel Gutierrez, born in 2001, on the left. Napoli hold the cards – they have agreements both on fees and with the players themselves.

Napoli lead Wolves in race for Juanlu

This morning’s blitz by Juanlu and his agent at Sevilla headquarters sends a very clear message: he wants to join Napoli, regardless of the rumours over the past 36 hours suggesting he was on the verge of joining Wolves.

Now it is up to Napoli, who have had an agreement in place for days with Girona for Gutierrez, a deal worth around €20 million all in. At this point, it is just a matter of pressing the button and getting the formalities in order, we’ll see how the timing and final decisions play out.

Napoli eye midfielders and set Raspadori price-tag

In midfield, there hasn’t been a rekindling of interest in Musah, Miretti remains on the radar (Juve are asking for €20 million) and there is also the surprise option of Fabbian (Bologna still like Zanioli, who could leave with Juanlu coming in).

As for Giacomo Raspadori, a suitable offer is required. That goes for Atletico Madrid as well – the bid has to reach at least €30 million, bonuses included.
