Inter Milan will have Lautaro Martinez and Matteo Darmian back available for their match against Sassuolo.
Both players missed Inter’s 2-0 midweek win over Ajax in the Champions League.
Martinez was on the bench but was wearing trainers and not boots.
The Argentine looked tired in last weekend’s defeat to Juventus and head coach Cristian Chivu opted to rest him against the Dutch giants.
However, as per the Corriere dello Sport, via FcInterNews, Martinez is set to return to the team.
The reports suggest that the duo could return to full training with their teammates as early as today.
Then, there will be two full days of training with the team to prepare for Sassuolo.
Darmian is not likely to immediately star in the starting eleven but will be available to Chivu if needed.
Lautaro, meanwhile, looks set to come straight back into the starting lineup.
The Argentine will be hoping to bounce back with a goal or two.
