According to journalist Fabrizio Romano on The Here We Go Podcast , president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has personally stepped in to shut down Bayern Munich’s chances of signing Barcola, a move that now looks highly unlikely given the current situation.
“Barcola was one of Bayern Munich’s main targets this summer,” Romano said (h/t Le10Sport ). “Barcola is a player they would love to add to the squad. The real issue is that Paris Saint-Germain, and especially president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, have informed Bayern that they do not want to sell Barcola.”
Last month, Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé also reported that Barcola isn’t leaving PSG, as he remains a key part of the club’s project and has no intention of moving on.
