Injury and Suspension Updates to Note

Victor Gyokeres is out with a muscle injury, as is Gabriel Martinelli, and will miss out on Arsenal’s game against Sunderland. His teammate Martin Ordegaard is expected to be back later this month.

Anthony Gordon has been called up to the England squad, but he is still a doubt for Newcastle this weekend with a hip injury.

Chelsea’s Pedro Neto sustained a knock, making him an unlikely pick against his former club, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Must-Have FPL Picks

Sunderland vs Arsenal will be a tight game defensively. While it will be hard to predict a winner, former Gunner Granit Xhaka (£5.1m) is likely to perform well for the Black Cats, and have a goal contribution. Bukayo Saka (£10.1m) is also like to get a goal contribution.

Erling Haaland (£14.8m) has blanked just once this season across all competitions, and is the last player that should be missing from your Fantasy Football Matchweek 11 squad, despite facing title defenders Liverpool.

Manchester United have lost to Tottenham in their last four fixtures, but with Bryan Mbeumo (£8.4m) in good form, FPL managers should consider the forward.

Moises Caicedo (£6.0m) has been strong in anchoring Chelsea’s midfield this season. The defensive midfielder has found the back of the net in style a few times this season, and is likley to get a goal conribution against Wolves.

FPL Captaincy Picks

  • Erling Haaland (Man City vs Liverpool)
  • Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth vs Aston Villa)
