Fiorentina Manager Vincenzo Italiano: “Inter’s Strengths Are Their Quality, Physicality and Technical Ability”

Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano pointed out that quality, physicality, technical ability are Inter Milan’s strengths.

Vincenzo Italiano commented on the Nerazzurri’s strengths during his press conference prior to Fiorentina’s Serie A game against Inter at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday at 20:45 CET.

“It will be a difficult game. They are a squad who have recovered after a difficult period. We have to be concentrated and play a great game. We are playing at home and we always play well,” said the Fiorentina manager via FCInter1908.

“[Inter’s] quality, physicality, and technical ability are their strengths. They are one of the favourites this season. It is for this reason that it won’t be easy, but we have to play our game,” concluded Italiano.

Fiorentina are currently on a 3 game winless streak in Serie A, as their last league victory is against Hellas Verona on September 18.

They lost 1-0 to Atalanta and 4-0 to Lazio and they were able to only secure a 1-1 draw against 10-men Lecce on Monday.

The Viola have only found success in the UEFA Europa Conference League in the past month by beating Scottish side Hearts home and away.

Fiorentina players Riccardo Sottil and Luka Jovic are expected to miss the game against Inter on Saturday through injury.

Jovic picked up during the Viola’s previous Serie A game on Monday, as he was subbed off after the first 10 minutes.

Sottil has missed his club’s last 4 Serie A games because of a muscle injury.
