Former Inter Milan striker Felipe Caicedo would have stayed with Lazio for his entire career.

Former Inter Milan striker Felipe Caicedo said that he would stayed with Lazio for his entire career and that he would return to the club if asked.

“Everything is going well [in Saudi Arabia], but I would have stayed for life at Lazio,” said the Ecuadorian player according to Italian media outlet Il Messaggero via FCInterNews.

“I don’t know who decided that I had to leave, but I have regrets because things didn’t go as planned,” continued the former Lazio player.

“My heart stayed [at Lazio] and I have fond memories. I would return to the club in January if they ask me,” concluded the former Inter striker.

The Ecuadorian striker played with Lazio from 2017-2021 where he made 133 appearances and scored 33 goals in all competitions playing as Ciro Immobile’s backup. He also provided 15 assists for the club.

Felipe Caicedo was sold to Genoa in August 2021 for a €2 million fee and made 10 appearances and scored one goal for the Grifone.

Felipe Caicedo moved from Genoa to Inter in January 2022 on loan. The Ecuadorian striker made 3 appearances with the Nerazzurri and failed to score a goal for the club.

Felipe Caicedo now piles his trade in Saudi Arabia for Abha after signing on a free transfer. He has made 6 appearances and scored one goal for his new club.
