Manchester United are one of the twenty clubs in the Premier League aiming for success this season.

The Red Devils, who were handed an aim of European football by Sir Jim Ratcliffe earlier this season, currently sit seventh in the league with 32 points.

However, in this time, the club has been through a large spell of change with manager Ruben Amorim departing the club after just over a year.

In his place, Darren Fletcher took over as interim manager with him already having his first game against Burnley, which he drew 2-2.

Furthermore, he is set to face Brighton and Hove Albion today in the third round of the FA Cup.

However, Amorim is not the only manager to leave Manchester United in recent years with Adam Lawrence also officially leaving the club in May 2025.

Lawrence had been a coach at United, but went onto join Newcastle United.

Now, following his departure from the Toon, the manager has took to social media to comment.

Posting on his official LinkedIn profile, Lawrence stated: “I have made the decision to leave my role as U21 Player Development Lead at Newcastle United Academy.

“After being at the club for a short period of time this was a really difficult decision to make.

“However, there are times in life where you have to make tough choices and this is one of those moments.

“I would like to thank Steve Harper for the opportunity to work at such an amazing club, and wish the Academy and Club every success in the future.

“Newcastle is a truly special place.

“I look forward to exploring potential opportunities that are out there for me.”

Adam Lawrence had left the club following four months with the side with Newcastle United now having to find a replacement for him in his role.
