Benjamin Pavard will likely start in Saturday’s Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the French defender has regained full fitness ahead of this mammoth fixture.

Pavard missed both semi-final legs against Barcelona due to an ankle problem.

Furthermore, Simone Inzaghi couldn’t use him in the last four Serie A matches.

However, the 29-year-old has overcome the issue and will return to his old stomping ground this weekend.

Pavard spent four years at Bayern Munich, helping the club win 11 major titles, including the 2020 Champions League.

Indeed, Hansi Flick inspired the Bavarians to a remarkable continental success, beating PSG in the final.

Meanwhile, his recovery means Yann Bisseck will likely drop to the bench.

Pavard last featured for Inter in late April, so a lack of competitive form may still be a concern.
