Juventus beat Atalanta 2-1 in a pre-season friendly with an acrobatic Jonathan David finish and Dusan Vlahovic, before Lazar Samardzic scored for La Dea.

This was the Trofeo Bortolotti encounter at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.

It was an aggressive start with big saves on Isak Hien, Teun Koopmeiners and Kenan Yildiz, but it took until the 73 rd minute to break the deadlock.

David got his first goal in the Juventus jersey with an acrobatic finish, reacting quickly to a ricochet off Davide Zappacosta.

Vlahovic came off the bench and found the net two minutes later, running onto the assist from fellow substitute Joao Mario to beat Marco Carnesecchi one on one.

Atalanta did get one back late on with a great solo effort from Samardzic, who controlled with a perfect first touch, skipped away from Pierre Kalulu and Filip Kostic to fire into the net.
