Brentford manager Thomas Frank has emerged in the crosshairs of Tottenham Hotspur as they look to replace Ange Postecoglou this summer.

The Australian manager has failed to live up to expectations, and he will be shown the door at the end of the season. Tottenham are currently in the final of the UEFA Europa League, and they will take on Manchester United tomorrow night.

It will be interesting to see if they can salvage a disappointing season by winning the European Cup. It would help them secure funds for potential signings in the summer and a place in next season’s Champions League.

According to Footmercato, Tottenham want Frank to take over as the club’s next manager. The Danish manager has done an exceptional job in the Premier League with Brentford, and he has helped them secure a place in the top half despite having limited resources.

The report claims that he is a ‘renowned technician’ in the Premier League. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can convince the 51-year-old to take over. There is no doubt that he is a quality manager, and he could help them bounce back strongly next year.

Spurs move could be tempting

The opportunity to take over at the London club will also be quite exciting for the 51-year-old. He will be able to work with quality players and more resources at the London club. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Tottenham need to get their managerial appointment right in the summer. They have been quite poor this season, and they are 17th in the league table. That is simply unacceptable for a club of their stature. They should be fighting for trophies regularly, and someone like Frank could help them get back on track.
