Manchester United remain active in the transfer market despite already reaching a full agreement with Atalanta for Brazilian midfielder Ederson.
While reinforcements in midfield are viewed as the club’s main priority following Casemiro’s departure and uncertainty surrounding Manuel Ugarte’s future, the Red Devils have also continued to assess options in attacking areas.
Matheus Cunha, who arrived at Old Trafford last summer, is capable of operating on the left wing.
However, United have still been monitoring several players in that position ahead of the new season.
Now, another Premier League club has entered the race for one of the attacking players on United’s shortlist.
According to The Guardian, Fulham have joined the race to sign a highly-rated Premier League winger this summer.
The player in question is West Ham United attacker Crysencio Summerville.
He is expected to leave the London Stadium following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
The Guardian report that Manchester United and Chelsea have both been monitoring the Netherlands international, while Fulham have now added him to their shortlist as they look to strengthen their wide options.
Summerville enjoyed an impressive individual campaign despite West Ham’s struggles.
He scored seven goals and registering three assists in 34 appearances last season.
The 24-year-old also impressed during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring twice in four appearances for the Netherlands.
Manchester United have already entered talks over a possible move for Summerville, with the club continuing to explore a number of attacking options this summer.
Competition for his signature is intensifying, however, with Paris Saint-Germain also recently entering the race for the former Leeds United winger.
Having previously starred for Leeds during the 2023/24 season, when he recorded 21 goals and 10 assists, Summerville is viewed as a player capable of making an immediate impact in the Premier League.
With several clubs now interested, it remains to be seen where the Dutchman will be playing his football next season.
