Inter have so far only worked on the fringes in January, sending Tomas Palacios to Club Racing on loan and acquiring a pair of youngsters, but two of their players will be buzzed about down the stretch, Davide Frattesi and Luis Henrique.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the former isn’t yet a lock to stay put. The Nerazzurri didn’t rush his exit because Hakan Calhanoglu got hurt, but he hasn’t played more than usual anyway, as the competition remains robust. He’s unlikely to be sold to a rival, like Juventus. Instead, if Nottingham Forest or Galatasaray tabled a rich bid, it’d be considered carefully.

Like Frattesi, Luis Henrique is also drawing interest from the Premier League and Turkey, but Inter are more determined to retain him. Per Fabrizio Romano (via MSN), Bournemouth have been after him. They are ready to match his valuation but haven’t received the go-ahead because the counterparty wants to secure a replacement first. They could move on if the stalemate continues.

Besiktas have also been tracking the Brazilian speedster. They tendered about €20M, close to what the Nerazzurri shelled out for him in the summer, Sabah reports (via La Gazzetta dello Sport). They think they’ll have a chance if Ivan Perisic does return to San Siro.

Our Take on Inter, Frattesi, and Luis Henrique

The issue for the Italian midfielder is likely more economic than playing time-related. He’s really redundant, even if they have some troubles at the position. The right bid could indeed arrive from England. Unless they know Denzel Dumfries is returning sooner than expected, they’d need a pure wing-back on top of the Croatian icon to afford losing the former Olympique Marseille man.
