The coach of Germany’s Under-21 national side is a big fan of the attitude of Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck.

Germany Under-21 coach Antonio Di Salvo praised the 23-year-old speaking to Gazzetta.it. He gave his recollections of working with the player.

This season has been a big one for Bisseck.

Last summer, the German made the move to inter from Danish side Aarhaus.

That was always going to be a big step up for Bisseck. And so it is no surprise that the young defender has not featured all that regularly for Inter.

But it is not as though Bisseck has not gotten his chances.

The 23-year-old has made a number of starts for the Nerazzurri. He has also appeared off the bench on quite a few occasions.

And when he has gotten opportunities, Bisseck has taken them with both hands.

The German’s goal against Bologna yesterday evening was one more personal highlight for him.

Germany U21 Coach Praises Inter Star Yann Bisseck For “Great Attitude”

Di Salvo looked back on his time working with Bisseck. ”

“Bisseck was still coming off the back of a couple of injuries,” he noted.

“And had decided to restart his career in the Danish league.”

“He was doing well there,” Di Salvo noted. “Ao I called him. I said, ‘I don’t know if I’ll be able to give you playing time , but I’d like to have you with us.'”

“His team had given him a few days off, and permission to go and see his family, who he hadn’t visited for a while because of COVID.”

“But he cancelled everything and made himself completely available to us,” the coach looked back.

“His response was clear: ‘Coach, I’m here. Even if you don’t play me for a second.'”

“I was impressed by his positive attitude,” Di Salvo said.

“It’s not often that you get an answer like that in that sort of situation.”

“He already knew several teammates,” the coach noted. “And quickly got along well with everyone.”

“He has the ability to unite the various groups that usually form in the dressing room. It’s no coincidence that I gave him the captain’s armband.”
