Getafe open Man Utd talks about Greenwood options

Getafe opened talks with Manchester United about a new loan for Mason Greenwood.

The Athletic says Getafe have started discussions with United regarding Greenwood.

The La Liga club hope to keep the striker on a new loan deal for next season.

United would prefer to sell Greenwood this summer, but will consider a new loan move if there is not a good enough offer.

United are expected to activate the option to extend Greenwood's contract until 2026 should there be a new loan.
