For matchday 2 of the CONCACAF Nations League in League A, Group 2, one of the biggest rivalries of the region will be played. Guatemala will host El Salvador at the Estadio Manuel Felipe Carrera in La Cuidad de Guatemala.

Guatemala and El Salvador had very different results in matchday 1 a few days ago, Guatemala suffered a 3-2 loss to Jamaica away from home.

Oscar Santis scored a brace for Guatemala but a late goal from Jamaica’s Renaldo Cephas led to Guatemala beginning the CONCACAF Nations League with 0 points.

El Salvador hosted Martinique in matchday 1 and they won the match 3-1. Brayan Gill scored a brace and Harold Osorio scored the third goal for the home side; El Salvador top the group with 3 points and they have a +2 goal difference.

Guatemala and El Salvador played each other twice last year in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers and both teams had a win over the other. The last time Guatemala hosted El Salvador, El Salvador won 0-1 away from home.

In the previous matchup, El Salvador hosted Guatemala and this time it was Guatemala that won 0-1.

Where to Watch Guatemala vs. El Salvador – MD2 – CONCACAF Nations League A – Group 2

Guatemala vs. El Salvador kicks off at 10 P.M. ET/ 7 P.M. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 8 P.M. local time at Estadio Manuel Felipe Carrera in La Cuidad de Guatemala.
