Harry Amass has faced an uncertain future at Manchester United, with the highly-rated defender attracting considerable transfer interest following his breakthrough at Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old joined United from Watford in 2023 and quickly established himself among the club’s brightest academy prospects.
He made his senior debut against Leicester City on his 18th birthday in March 2025 before earning his first Premier League start against Newcastle United.
Amass is an attack-minded left-back, combining aggressive tackling with intelligent overlapping runs and confidence in possession.
His development continued during a productive loan at Sheffield Wednesday, where he won consecutive Player of the Month awards.
However, a subsequent spell at Norwich City was disrupted by a serious injury.
United subsequently faced a difficult decision over his future during the summer transfer window.
Championship side Burnley made a £3.5 million offer, which United ultimately rejected.
The situation was complicated by United’s failure to recruit another left-back, leaving Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu as Michael Carrick’s principal options.
Amass consequently remained at Old Trafford, making Champions League appearances against Sabah and Como this season.
He also recently joined first-team training ahead of Saturday’s Chelsea encounter.
Now, the talented defender has officially confirmed an important new career move.
Manchester United defender Harry Amass has officially joined football representation agency Unique Sports Group.
The agency confirmed the development on Instagram, sharing photographs of Amass at its offices.
“Harry Amass is Unique!” the announcement declared.
The company welcomed the teenager as he reaches another significant stage in his development.
Unique Sports Group is an established international agency specialising in player representation, contract negotiations, transfers and commercial partnerships.
Its client roster includes England internationals Anthony Gordon, Marc Guehi and Dean Henderson, alongside Brennan Johnson and Lewis Miley.
The company was founded by Will Salthouse and operates across several countries, including England, Germany and Spain.
Amass’ decision comes amid continued uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at Manchester United.
However, the announcement concerns his representation and does not constitute a transfer away from Old Trafford.
