'He told me…': Tottenham summer signing breaks silence on private chat with Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur decided to make the move for Mathys Tel permanent during the summer transfer window.

The player was on loan at the north London club during the second half of last season. Although he did not make a significant impact at the English club, they rate him highly, and they have decided to sign him permanently.

The French attacker has now opened up on the challenge ahead of him, and he has revealed the message he received from former Tottenham star Harry Kane. 

“Yes, I spoke to him beforehand,” he said.

“He told me, if you need anything, send me a text, give me a call. I spoke to him; he’s a top guy. (Now it’s a) new challenge, I’m ready for my team, the clubs and also the fans.”
