Henrikh Mkhitaryan admits he's determined to extend his career at Inter Milan.

The attacking midfielder is playing some of the best football of his career with Inter.

After victory over Torino, Mkhitaryan is now preparing for their Champions League clash with RB Salzburg and said: "It wasn't easy to play against Torino. In the first half we struggled, but in the second half we pushed hard and we were rewarded.

"It was important to win to have a good mood in the locker room and prepare for tomorrow's Champions League.

"Last year we stopped a bit, but this year we continued at the same speed. We want to improve and win as many games as possible, we have team objectives to achieve and we are giving everything."

He also said: "I do my job... I'm working hard to extend my career, I only have a few years left but I'm doing my best to play and have fun.

"I don't know (about a new contract), they haven't told me anything yet. For me the important thing is to play and train, then we'll see what happens outside in the next few months, the question of a possible contract renewal will depend on the club."
