Defence Force FC hosts Philadelphia Union at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain at 6 p.m. ET, in the first leg of the round of 32 in the Concacaf Champions Cup.

The MLS side will play its first competitive match following the conclusion of the 2026 season. On Jan. 20, they played a friendly against the Czech side Sigma, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Trinidad and Tobago club, meanwhile, defeated Prison Service 2-0 on Jan. 31 and beat La Horquetta Rangers 9-0 on Jan. 25.

The Union recently signed center-forward Ezekiel Alladoh from Allsvenskan side Brommapojkarna, left winger Agustin Anello from Uruguay side Boston River and center back Japhet Sery Larsen from Norway side Brann.
