Mario Giuffredi, agent of Lazio target Elseid Hysaj, confirmed that the Biancocelesti have not opened talks yet today.

Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radio Marte (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Italian agent highlighted that the Roman club have not yet made contact for the 27-year-old Albanian left back.

We are looking at different solutions. I personally have not heard from Lazio yet, we continue to do our job by working on the solutions that are available. Then if Lazio come along, we’ll welcome them.

He confirmed that there were several teams interested in acquiring the expiring Napoli full back.

It will be a great deal for whoever gets him. There are several teams on him.

Finally, Giuffredi confirmed that Hysaj would not be renewing his contract with Napoli, leaving the Partenopei after six years this summer.

Hysaj renewal with Napoli? Absolutely not.

The Biancocelesti are seriously interested in acquiring the 27-year-old Albanian left back as they are looking to reinforce the squad this summer and provide important options for new coach Maurizio Sarri.

The 62-year-old Italian coach knows Hysaj well from their time together in Naples and it would be a great deal for the Roman club to secure such a target on a free transfer.
