It’s from a candid interview he did with The Athletic back in October 2024, where he opened up about his lifelong love for Arsenal despite facing them as an opponent. However. It could be decades old when it comes to football fans looking for an angle to pass comment on a player.

Suddenly this feels like another Eberechi Eze situation where his heart lies with Arsenal. Will this send Tottenham searching for an alternative?

Also, Arsenal had quite a lot of prominent black players in that period, which probably resonated with a lot of people at that time, having those figures to look up to.
