Image: TalkSport’s “team of 2021” has 3 Chelsea players

TalkSport have named their “Premier League team of 2021”, and there are three Chelsea players in the mix.

The Blues have had a great calendar year, really thriving after Thomas Tuchel arrived in January.

Their defence has been the strength of the team, so it’s no surprise to see goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and defender Antonio Rudiger in the mix.

Mason Mount is in the midfield to complete the trio after a year where he’s stepped up his goals and assist production.

The only question is how Thiago Silva managed to miss out.
