Very tough to watch this, but a new Spurs recruit was subject to a game-ending injury at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon.

What makes the matter all the more unpalatable, was that the Bournemouth bench appeared to be completely ignorant of the legitimacy of the injury and there was a pitch-side flare up which resulted in many bookings, including Spurs’ Govani Lo Celso and Ange Postecoglou.

Clearly, the young Argentinian was in significant pain and it will be interesting to hear what the coaches say afterwards.
