Injury Crisis Subsiding At Perfect Time For Inter Milan Late Scudetto Push

Several Inter Milan stars are working around the clock to return from injuries amid the club’s last-ditch attempt to win the Scudetto.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Simone Inzaghi will welcome three players back for the upcoming Lazio clash.

Unfortunately, Lautaro Martinez will not be at Inzaghi’s disposal this weekend.

Indeed, the Argentine superstar will likely return for the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

There’s hope he could rejoin the squad for the final Serie A fixture against Como.

However, it’s more likely to see him in Munich.

Inter Milan Handed Triple Injury Boost for Late Scudetto Push

While waiting for Lautaro’s recovery, Inter can again call upon Champions League hero Davide Frattesi.

In addition to the Italian midfielder, Benjamin Pavard and Henrikh Mkhitaryan should make the matchday squad.

All three have been working on accelerating their return from injuries in recent days.

Therefore, Inzaghi should have almost the entire squad fit for Lazio’s visit to Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday.

With Napoli going to Parma, there’s still a chance for Inter to turn the Scudetto race in their favor.
