According to Sky Sport Italia, the latest written offer from Inter for Ademola Lookman is €42m plus €3m in add-ons to Atalanta.

There was a new meeting today between directors representing the two clubs and the Nerazzurri had promised an improvement to the original €40m proposal.

It was believed the new bid would be €40m plus €5m in add-ons, but the situation has now changed.

Inter increase Lookman fixed fee

Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset both claim that the written offer is worth €42m in fixed fee plus another €3m in add-ons.

It remains to be seen if it will be sufficient for Atalanta, who had wanted €50m including bonuses to release the forward.

Lookman will celebrate his 28th birthday in October and his contract with Atalanta runs to June 2027.

He was purchased from RB Leipzig in 2022 for €10.85m plus €1.5m in bonuses.

The Germans are also owed a cut of the sell-on fee for the 2024 African Player of the Year.
