Inter Miami are fresh off the back of their MLS Cup win last year, adding to their ever-growing trophy cabinet under the ownership of Sir David Beckham.
Former Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano is the current manager of the MLS side, with the 41-year-old having a wealth of talent at his fingertips which includes Lionel Messi.
However, the Miami-based side are now looking to further improve their squad with one Manchester United’s top midfielders.
The Sun has reported that Inter Miami are looking at signing Casemiro as he becomes a free agent this summer.
The 33-year-old is set to come to the end of his contract once the season finishes and has already announced he’ll be leaving Old Trafford.
As such, the Brazil international will be a free agent, with several clubs vying for his signature.
Already Casemiro has been linked to the USA, but for a West Coast move to LA Galaxy, meaning Inter Miani have competition.
However, Saudi Arabia is also on the cards with a potential third stint playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo should he join Al-Nassr after joining up with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner at Real Madrid and Manchester United.
On the otherhand though, joining Inter Miami would make him only the 28th person to have played with both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo during their career, making it an interesting opportunity.
He’d also be linking up with formerReal Madrid and Manchester United teammate Sergio Regulion who joined Inter Miami in the winter, also as a free agent.
The left back joined The Red Devils on loan from Tottenham Hotspur under Erik ten Hag in 2023, however had previously played alongside Casemiro at the Berabeau in 2018/19.
