Manchester United are approaching the summer transfer window where a large period of change could occur before the new season gets underway in August.

The Red Devils, who may play Champions League football next campaign, have identified a number of midfield targets who could join the club.

Adam Wharton is one of these, with rumours about his next club being further fuelled by his expected departure from Crystal Palace this summer.

Carlos Baleba has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with the lowering of his transfer fee by Brighton and Hove Albion making the possibility of a move more likely.

If a move for Baleba does not work, United could switch their focus to Sandro Tonali who CentreDevils exclusively revealed has been in talks with Manchester United through his representatives.

These targets come off the back of confirmation that Casemiro will leave the club this summer after four seasons at Old Trafford.

The Brazilian international’s next club has been at the centre of speculation with him offered to both AC Milan and Juventus ahead of his exit.

Now, Inter Miami have taken crucial steps towards a potential deal with Fabrizio Romano revealing that the American club have sent their first proposal to Casemiro.

Romano also confirmed that Casemiro was open to a move although a deal is dependent on the financial implications of the proposal.

The revealing of this news opens the door for a move to the United States of America for Casemiro, should each component of a deal be successfully put into place in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Attention may now switch towards the parties involved in the deal to see if they can successfully negotiate the challenges that may present themselves in the coming weeks and months.
