Inter Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu delivered a match-winning performance in last night’s 3-0 demolition of Fiorentina. 

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Turkish midfielder was the highest-rated player on the field for a reason.

Despite an emphatic scoreline, it wasn’t plain sailing for Inter as they failed to find a way past David de Gea for over an hour.

Indeed, the Spanish goalkeeper rolled back the years with several world-class saves on either side of halftime.

However, Hakan Calhanoglu unlocked the contest with a moment of pure brilliance.

The 31-year-old star drew first blood with a superb long-range effort, leaving De Gea with no chance.

Yet, the former AC Milan ace simply cannot stop scoring against Fiorentina.

Indeed, he doubled his tally from the spot, taking his career tally against La Viola to seven goals.

Beyond his strikes, Calhanoglu was once again Inter’s midfield general, dictating the tempo with his signature passing and composure under pressure.

Meanwhile, Petar Sucic scored his first-ever goal in Serie A in style, contributing to an commanding scoreline.
