Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez keeps writing his name deeper into club history. With his latest goal in the 4-1 Serie A win over Cremonese, the Argentine striker has moved into the top five all-time scorers in the Nerazzurri’s history books.
The goal was Martinez’s fourth of the season and came as he found the net in consecutive Serie A matches for the first time since January.
In doing so, the forward drew level with Luigi Cevenini on 158 goals, securing fifth place among Inter’s greatest scorers across all competitions.
Martinez has been in good form as of late, after recovering from a back issue that saw him struggle against Juventus and miss the Champions League win over Ajax.
Just ahead of him now are Sandro Mazzola (161), Roberto Boninsegna (171), Alessandro Altobelli (209), and the legendary Giuseppe Meazza (284), as noted by FCInter1908.
At 28 and entering his eighth season in Milan, Martinez continues to demonstrate both consistency and leadership as he chases further milestones in the iconic black and blue shirt.
