Inter Milan coach Inzaghi: Unimaginable to win 6 trophies in 3 years

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has assured fans his contract renewal is only weeks away.

Inzaghi maintains everything will be settled at the end of the season.

He said: "I said it after Torino. Winning the championship five days early was wonderful, considering what the Inter fans paid us. Now we have the last games of the championship to face in the best possible way, then we will meet with the club.

"It must be a strong Inter, we must improve our objectives every year. Thinking of six trophies and a Champions League final when I arrived three years ago seemed unimaginable, but there was a lot of hope.

"I knew I would find a strong club, with very strong managers: I think of Marotta, Ausilio, Baccin... I knew that, despite the difficulties we were talking about, they would build competitive teams.

"Then with the team and the fans all together we managed to win six trophies and reaching a Champions League final is something that will stay with you forever."
