Inter Milan Earn 2026 Supercoppa Italiana Qualification After Torino Victory

Inter Milan will fight for Supercoppa Italiana glory next year after beating Torino in their last Serie A outing.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, that win confirmed the Nerazzurri as the final participants in the event.

Goals from Nicola Zalewski and Kristjan Asllani catapulted Inter to a 2-0 win at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

In addition to blowing the Scudetto race wide open again, Inter secured the Italian Super Cup promotion.

Furthermore, it will come at the expense of Atalanta.

Inter Milan Lock Down 2026 Supercoppa Italiana Berth

Atalanta can no longer threaten Inter’s position in the Serie A standings.

Indeed, Inter’s superior head-to-head record means they’ll finish above La Dea regardless of their results in the last two rounds.

Therefore, they’ll appear in the next edition of the Italian Super Cup alongside AC Milan, Bologna, and Napoli.

While the latter two qualified by reaching the Coppa Italia final, Napoli’s place in Serie A has earned them the same privilege.
