This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

With Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa gone as their contracts expire, and the future of Mehdi Taremi uncertain, Inter must bolster the attacking depth.

And it has always been clear what the Nerazzurri’s strategy will be. They will focus on a younger attacking signing.

Meanwhile, the Dane’s age and wages would make him an ideal profile for Inter’s transfer strategy under Oaktree Capital.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri are ready to start negotiations with Manchester United. They are aiming to sign Hojlund on an initial loan deal containing a purchase option or obligation.

Then, the Gazzetta anticipate, Parma’s Ange-Yoan Bonny is another attacking target for Inter.
