Inter Milan Star Pushes Former Striker Toward Curva Nord For Heartfelt Ovation

San Siro witnessed an emotional moment after Inter Milan won 3-0 over Fiorentina, as Nicolò Barella ensured that former teammate Edin Dzeko received a proper farewell from the Nerazzurri faithful.

As the final whistle blew, Barella playfully pushed Dzeko toward the Curva Nord, prompting loud applause from supporters who once celebrated his goals.

The Bosnian striker spent two seasons at Inter between 2021 and 2023.

In this time, he scored 22 goals in 69 appearances.

Furthermore, he helped the club reach the Champions League final in 2023.

Dzeko played a supporting role for the Nerazzurri before joining Fenerbahce in 2023.

Inter’s official Instagram account later joined in the tribute, posting a photo of the striker with the caption.

“Once an Interista, always an Interista.”
