Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi will only sign a new deal if the club can guarantee him minutes and a starring role.

According to reports from Tuttosport today, the coming months are vital in Frattesi’s future.

The reports claim that Frattesi would love to sign a new deal.

Meanwhile, Inter are ready to offer him an increased wage of €3.5 million.

However, the midfielder wants to play regularly and he has so far not been under Chivu’s management.

Tomorrow’s match against Frattesi’s old club Sassuolo could be a vital turning point.

Reports suggest that Chivu considers the Italian in contention with summer signing Petar Sucic for a starting spot tomorrow.

So far this season, Frattesi is yet to play a single minute in Serie A.

During the win over Ajax in midweek, the midfielder played just 20 minutes off the bench.

If the Italian does not start getting more minutes soon, the reports claim that he would seek a potential move in January.

In the summer, Premier League side Newcastle United were linked with a move for Frattesi.
