Inter Milan will reportedly hand Yann Bisseck a salary increase even if doesn’t trigger the automatic clause in his contract.

The German is one of the lowest earners in the first team with a salary of just below 1 million euros per year.

This is mainly because the 23-year-old arrived as a relative unknown in the summer. He had been plying his trade in the Danish league with Aarhus before making an eyebrow-raising switch to Appiano Gentile.

Nevertheless, Bisseck has managed to impress whenever Simone Inzaghi called upon his services.

Although he remains a backup for Benjamin Pavard, the Nerazzurri consider him a pillar for the future.

So according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, Bisseck will earn a pay rise starting next season.

As the source explains, the Koln native has a clause in his contract that raises his annual salary to 1.2 million euros after making a certain number of appearances.

The Germany U21 starlet has thus far made 18 appearances across all competitions.

Inter Milan Looking To Reward Yann Bisseck With Improved Salary

While it remains unclear if the player will manage to trigger the clause, Inter are reportedly looking to reward him with a pay rise regardless of the contract stipulation.

Nevertheless, the management is inquiring whether they can still take advantage of the Growth Decree in case of a contract renewal.

This regulation granted Serie A clubs tax cuts on the gross wages of players signed from abroad. However, the Italian government has recently abolished it.

The decree was still applicable when Biseck arrived in Italy. The defender’s contract with the Nerazzurri expires in the summer of 2028.
