Simone Inzaghi is expected to have a full complement of Inter players available for the final Serie A match of the season away against Como on Friday night, but Lautaro Martinez is still expected to be rested ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain next Saturday.

The Nerazzurri will play against Cesc Fabregas’s Como at the Stadio Sinigaglia on Friday night with a hope of claiming their second consecutive Serie A title.

Inter will need Napoli to drop points in order for that to happen. Antonio Conte’s side will play at home against Cagliari, already safe from relegation, at the same time on Friday night with a one-point advantage over the Nerazzurri ahead of kick-off.

Inter team news update: Who will play against Como in Serie A decider?

According to reports earlier in the week, Lautaro Martinez is expected to be with the squad in Como on Friday night and is in contention to feature, likely from the substitutes’ bench.

The Argentine has not featured for Inter since the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona on May 6. Mehdi Taremi is set to fill in for him in the starting line-up against Como.

Lautaro aside, every other member of Inzaghi’s first-team squad is expected to be fit and available against Como in Serie A on Friday night.

With the Serie A title on the line, Inzaghi is expected to go all-out as well. Multiple outlets predict that he will start his strongest available XI, featuring the likes of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and Marcus Thuram, although there could be a series of second-half substitutions in order to give some of his players a minor rest ahead of the Champions League final next week.

Thursday’s reports claim that Thuram will be given a rest at the earliest opportunity. Carlos Augusto will also be vying for minutes and could replace Federico Dimarco, while Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa will also be available to give the starting strikers a rest, on top of Lautaro.

Possible Inter XI against  Como

Sommer; Bisseck, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Taremi, Thuram.
