Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez has returned to Italy after helping Argentina beat Angola in a friendly last Friday.

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, El Toro attended last night’s clash between Italy and Norway at San Siro.

Lautaro Martinez soaked up the limelight as La Albiceleste’s standout performer in their only November fixture.

Indeed, the 28-year-old scored the opening goal and set up Lionel Messi for Argentina’s second in a 2-0 win over Angola.

Already back in Europe, the Argentine striker will resume training tomorrow at Appiano Gentile.

With the highly anticipated Milan derby on the horizon, Cristian Chivu has no time to waste.

Therefore, preparations for Sunday’s mouth-watering clash against AC Milan start tomorrow.

In addition to Lautaro, Chivu also expects to see Hakan Calhanoglu on the training ground.

However, the 31-year-old has withdrawn from the national team due to a minor wrist injury.

As such, he will have to undergo further checks before being allowed to return to training.
