Inter’s Inzaghi named Serie A Coach of the Year 2024-25

Simone Inzaghi has officially been named Serie A Coach of the Season for the 2024-25 campaign for his Scudetto winning work with Inter.

The 48-year-old Italian coach took the Nerazzurri the Champions League final last season, where they lost to Manchester City in bitter fashion 1-0 in Istanbul, a result that galvanised the squad for the following term.

Inter were a cut above their rivals in Serie A this season, shaking off title challenges from Milan and Juventus as they cruised to their 20^th ever league title, earning the club their second Scudetto star. He is set to be offered a new long-term contract in the coming months.

Inzaghi named Coach of the Season

As announced by Lega Serie A today, Inzaghi has named Serie A Coach of the Season for the 2024-25 campaign for his Scudetto success with Inter, winning 29 of their 37 matches, only suffering two defeats.

The 48-year-old has never won the award before. The last three victors were Luciano Spalletti, Stefano Pioli and Antonio Conte.
