Is Cristiano Ronaldo Playing Tonight for Al Nassr vs Al Ittihad In King Cup of Champions?

Al Nassr will once again play Al Ittihad for the second time this season after playing them in the Saudi Pro League. Al Nassr and Al Ittihad are two of the biggest clubs in Saudi Arabia, and both teams have superstar names.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the biggest star for Al Nassr, while Al Ittihad has Karim Benzema. The former teammates have played each other twice this season, with both starting for their respective teams.

This season, Al Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus has made sure to give Ronaldo time to rest during mid-week games. Ronaldo has missed games for Al Nassr in the AFC Champions League Two, which have games mid-week.

Ronaldo has been playing every weekend, which has helped the Portuguese striker be fully fit for matches. With the match against Al Ittihad today, Jorge Jesus will need to make a decision to play him at all or keep him on the bench.

Cristiano Ronaldo set to play vs Al Ittihad

Despite being a mid-week game, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to start for Al Nassr against Al Ittihad. The game itself is too big for Ronado to miss, which is why many predict Jorge Jesus will start him.

Ronaldo appeared in the latest training sessions ahead of the match against Al Ittihad. Ronaldo will play three days after playing a full match in the Saudi Pro League against Al Hazem.

Ronaldo reached 950 career goals with his goal against Al Hazem over the weekend, and he will look to continue scoring more goals to reach a possible 1,000 career goals mark.
