LAFC will be taking on Toronto FC in the MLS tonight. LAFC defeated Atlanta United 1-0 over the weekend and positioned themselves 4th in the Western Conference.

LAFC has three games left in the regular MLS season before the playoffs, and if they win their remaining matches along with teams dropping points, LAFC could finish first in the Western Conference.

LAFC will be playing in the middle of the international break of October, when some nations are competing to qualify for the 2026 World Cup and other teams are playing friendly matches to prepare for the World Cup.

LAFC will not be counting on Son Heung-Min as the South Korean forward is currently with the South Korean National Team in South Korea. Son Heung-Min will miss the match between LAFC and Toronto FC tonight.

Son Heung-Min played in LAFC's 1-0 win over Atlanta United over the weekend. The South Korean star played the full 90 minutes against Atlanta United this past Sunday. Son is expected to play in two friendly matches for South Korea against Brazil and Paraguay.

Denis Bouanga will also not play in LAFC vs Toronto FC

Son Heung-Min is not the only star player that LAFC will miss for the match against Toronto FC, as Denis Bouanga is also ruled out. Bouanga is also on international duty and will play for the Gabon National Team.

Bouanga and Gabon will play against Gambia and Burundi during the international break. Gabon is in the World Cup qualifiers in Africa are battling for a direct spot to the 2026 World Cup with the Ivory Coast.

Bouanga scored for LAFC in their 1-0 win over Atlanta United over the weekend. LAFC is expected to be without Son and Bouanga for the next two matches in the MLS. LAFC's last three regular MLS games are against Toronto FC, Austin FC, and the Colorado Rapids.
