Federico Dimarco started for Inter Milan against Lazio.

The Italian international took up his usual spot on the left of Inter’s 3-5-2 formation.

In the view of the Corriere, Dimarco showed exactly why he is so important for Inter.

The 27-year-old’s passing was sharp. And when the Nerazzurri approached the final third, he was often the player they to unlock the Lazio defense.

Dimarco had a blistering shot after a corner right at the end of the first half. This was blocked, but fell to Yann Bisseck who scored.

In the second half, Carlos Augusto replaced Federico Dimarco as a substitute.

However, as the Corriere notes, the Brazilian couldn’t offer nearly the same sort of attacking quality that Dimarco had done.
